Our Experience at Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom.

Disney After Hours is a separately ticketed nighttime events at Walt Disney World that grant guests three hours of exclusive access to MK, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios after closing to the general public. Tickets cost between $155 and $189 depending on the park and date

It felt odd heading into the park this late.

What the Ticket Includes:

• Low Crowds & Short Lines: Attendance is strictly limited, meaning significantly reduced wait times for major attractions.

• Complimentary Snacks: Unlimited ice cream novelties (like Mickey bars), popcorn, and bottled beverages are included.

• Early Park Entry: Guests with an event ticket can enter the park as early as 7:00 PM without needing a regular daytime park ticket.

  
  

Felt odd entering the park this late. We could definitely get used to it, though.

As soon as we had taken the monorail from parking to the gates of MK Disney, Starlight was preparing to take to the streets!

Disney's Starlight parade at the Magic Kingdom features 10 floats. The nighttime spectacular features units inspired by stories like Peter Pan, Encanto, Coco, Moana, Frozen, and a grand finale train float featuring Mickey Mouse and friends.

It was then time for the first of two fireworks shows offered to After Hours guests. The first one was the regular nighttime show "Happily Ever After!"

It was incredible, but boy, that was one packed midway.

After "Happily Ever After," we began making our rounds around the park. We even got some rides in on Pirates and Jungle Cruise before the park even closed to regular guests.

We spent plenty of our exclusive ride time in Tomorrowland. I still brag about the 5-minute wait for Space Mountain.

MK is probably one of the most stunning nighttime parks anywhere, and we took full advantage of all the visuals and atmosphere.

Next it was time for our first rides on TRON!

This ride is fantastic and probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing anywhere!

After several laps around the park, we were feeling a lot like this hippo from It's a Small World. However, with an hour left, we had to keep moving.

We picked up more snacks and headed for Main Street U.S.A. for Enchantment.

The second fireworks show during the Magic Kingdom After Hours event is Disney Enchantment, which takes place exclusively for ticket holders at 11:00 PM.

The second show was wonderful as well. Huge mapping projections, immersive lighting, and pyro!

The best part was the light crowds and close views.

Following the show, we made sure to get in another lap on Tron and 7D Mine Train!

After our final ride, it was time to make the trek to the front of the park and back to the parking lot.
