We recently made our first visit to BGW! Follow along as we revisit our day!

We started of our morning early with a behind the scenes look at Verbolten and Big Bad Wolf.

I mean, would you want anyone else to be the first to welcome you to BGW?

Guess what? Every tour all day turned right.

Thats ok. It led us here, and we thought it was pretty neat.'

Look at that drop track. Be sure to check out our separate blog on our behind-the-scenes look at Verbolten and BBW. We have some pretty neat photos and insights.

Some unique angles of Verbolten

And Big Bad Wolf from the service road.

Very nice marquee. We then took our first rides. Very solid family coaster. Good addition for the park.

We then took our first rides on Verbolten. This is one of the most fun coasters out there. It's more intense than you think.

womp womp...

These colorful buildings helped.

Time for Alpengeist

This thing is MASSIVE! Probably not my favorite invert, but pretty fun!

It does have some force. A little jolty on the brake runs.

Thematically, New France was one of our favorite sections even though its just Canada.

Meal #1 was Trappers.

Lots of food for Lots of money (good thing we did the All-Day Dining. Pretty good though.

Lescoot was a Le-NO for me.

Very pretty though. Lots of energy in this section.

I tried to time this up for like 10 minutes so I just settled for 2/3.

New France..

This one is a little rough around the edges.

Really the only thing memorable about the ride.

Griffon is the parks dive and it towers over the skyline in the center of the park.

Really fun ride! Funny that it's smoother than Big Bad Wolf.

We love splashdowns.

Spent some time exploring in France.

Made our way to Ireland.

Unfortunately, we missed Celtic Fyre by only a few days.. Would love to see this, I've heard great things.

This ride is in an optimal position for photos and views.

These things are always a good time.

Next we stopped in to Festhause with our lunch. There was great live entertainment on stage.

Pretzel Pizza.

New Lochness looks great. Still kinda Jank though.

Nice theming.

One of the coolest elements ever.

The Rhine river cruise is home to some of the best views on the park.

Italy looks nice.

These things have never impressed me. We rode it anyways. It was fine.

It was then time for the star of the park.

This ride is so much fun and a top 10 for us. So smooth and that backwards launch over the airtime hill is WILD.

Still do not understand this..

We then took a ride on the Busch Gardens railway to unwind and take in some unique coaster views.

Pantheon.

Griffon.

Big Bad Wolf.

InvadR.

When arriving back to Italy we rode Apollos Chariot. This one took my by suprise. It was super fun and graceful!

BONUS IMAGE!

For me this is one of those rides that is really fun if you are watching from a distance.

The skyride gives incredible views of the park and the Clydesdales.

Look mom, Ireland..

Coaster valley.

We got off in France and stood in front of that fan.

Every park should have these. They are wonderful.

Dinner.. lol. Turkey sandwich not pictured.,.

Sunset stroll.

Sunset Skyride..

If you've ever wondered what the outside of Lochness' helix looks like.. here ya go.

Pompeii is pretty at night,

So is this pathway. Wow..

Time for a night ride on Pantheon. This thing is incredible

We ended our evening with one last lap around the park just to take in the nigh time atmosphere.

Alot of parks could take a play out of BGW's lighting playbook.

That concluded our day at BGW. It was a long one.. 8 am to 9 pm! It was a great one and an Incredible park. If you have not visited you should consider!
