We made it back out to SDC for another visit to wind down the Summer Celebration and Summer Nights! We made sure to check up on project '27 during our visit.

Last time we will see these sunflowers and marigolds for a while..

Upon arrival, we realized it was going to be a busy evening in the park.

We decided to go for a ride on WildFire first.

When we said busy, we meant it. First time I have seen the upstairs queue open on a visit this season.

Now for a construction update... after scouring the site from WildFire and the pathway, we noticed that not much had changed except for this large ore chute that has taken shape at the bottom of the mine shaft elevator. We don't believe this element will be a functional feature, but who knows.

Elsewhere, rock work continues to progress with more stones being brought in.

This section of footings seems complete. More footings and foundations continue to take shape beyond the lift of WildFire.

We decided to take a ride on PowderKeg. Unfortunately, it was on one train ops with a posted wait of 2 hours. This is when Trailblazer certainly pays dividends.

Because of the Crowds.

We decided to take in the first fireworks and drone show from Fireman's Landing and Firefall. Props to the ops for trying to get as many guests through during the fireworks and drones show as possible

Then it was time for Time Traveler. Very full queue.

I think we unlocked a new favorite viewing spot for the nighttime show during the second showing.

One last lap on WildFire.

And time to head home. We enjoyed the extended evening hours to midnight even though the park was extremely busy!
